Defensil PLUS is a patented ingredient contained in our liquid body balm Corpa Cera+ and our next facial oil Antidote 04 which will be released in a few months*. Defensil PLUS is an S.O.S. treatment for sensitive skin with redness when the inflammatory process is activated or the skin barrier is altered.
Irritations, whether chemical, biological or mechanical, affect the skin surface and lead, among other things, to the formation of cytokines which cause the following inflammatory reactions: erythema, swelling and/or pain. In addition, eczema, rosacea, etc. can occur.
Defensil PLUS has been clinically studied to soothe chronic reactions like eczema. It also soothes acute skin irritations such as razor burn or mosquito bites. In addition, it helps to strengthen the skin's protection against environmental aggressions.
Defensil PLUS is composed of botanical actives such as "Balloon vine" extract (a plant-based substitute for hydrocortisone), black currant seed oil (Omegas 3 & 6), and a sunflower oil concentrate that stabilizes the skin barrier.
